Clerk Office
City Clerk - Sharon Williams Ramey
Sharon Williams Ramey is dedicated to serving the City of Booneville with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to public service. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and has earned both her international certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), her state certification through Mississippi State University and through the Mississippi Clerks & Collectors Association.
Continuing her professional development, Sharon is currently enrolled in the Government Finance Management certification program through the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). She is also pursuing a master’s degree in public policy and public administration at Mississippi State University, further enhancing her knowledge and skills to better serve the community.
Beyond her career, Sharon is happily married. Together, they have a blended family of five daughters and are proud grandparents to four granddaughters and two grandsons.
As City Clerk, Sharon remains committed to ensuring efficient operations, financial accountability, and excellent service to the citizens of Booneville. Her goal is to always strive for excellence and work diligently for the betterment of the community.
